I have a young adult in my family in a dating relationship with someone who got the J&J or Janssen injection in April 2021, and I am very concerned about the risks to their health by dating this person. This family member points to the many people they know that appear "healthy" despite being injected, but I am concerned about their long-term health. Any thoughts for me? They argue with me that I am being fearful for no reason.
It is my opinion that the major risk is the transfer of the ability to make the spike protein from the injected to the uninjected. I believe the Pfizer and Moderna shots that contain lipid nanoparticles have the highest risk of transferring the lipid nanoparticles from an injected person to an uninjected person. The lipid nanoparticles getting into an uninjected person would have the ability to make spike proteins.
The J&J shot didn't use lipid nanoparticles. It used a deactivated adenovirus with a message in its DNA to make the mRNA. After the mRNA is made in the nucleus of the injected persons cells, it leaves the nucleus to make the spike protein. There would have to be transfer of the adenovirus vector from the injected to the uninjected. If such a transfer is possible, it would occur in close proximity in time to the injection, not months or years down the road.
I’m curious to know your thoughts about this also in relation to Astra Zeneca - many Australians had this one) also would this be applicable to the possible transfer of Jacob Creutzfeld Disease? Would the potential differ from Moderna to Pfizer to AZ?
Could you also clarify the difference between MRNA.
