Theresa Long, and believe that she is correct in her assessments and their implications, but I was not talking about the ordinary fighter, bomber, etc. pilots, I was referring specifically to the pilots flying Air Force One and other aircraft flying the likes of the late Kissinger, the Rockefellers, etc.
AF One is super safe...multiple teams of pilots on board, not just two. They plan for all emergencies. Plus there is a full medical team on board as AF One is by definition a flight where the President is on board. I’m a retiree from this company, thankfully before the vaxx rollout. Hard to believe they mandated these shots for anyone, let alone flight crews. AA is an extremely conservative company that has a zero tolerance policy for all drugs and crew members are routinely and randomly tested. Then they mandate something like this? Were they paid off? The rudder pedals control yaw, or movement around the aircraft's vertical axis. They don't control roll, which is movement around the longitudinal axis. It's not possible to flip the airplane over just by pushing on a rudder pedal. Roll is controlled by the ailerons using the control wheel (or joystick, depending on the aircraft model), and in the scenario described there's no indication that the flying pilot made any roll inputs. The margin of safety was degraded but not eliminated, and for a pilot operating in the most demanding part of the flight, when he's most likely to be alert to problems, regaining control isn't likely to be a catastrophic problem even if the other pilot is inadvertently applying strong forces to the controls. It's not a big emphasis item in training, but crews are trained to respond to the incapacitation of other crew members. From the audio it didn't sound like they were on short final when it happened, either. It sounded like the IRO (relief pilot) was already in the right seat, already squared away, and that the incapacitated F/O had probably been removed from the cockpit. "Short final" is inside the final approach fix, or roughly five miles from the runway. Maybe the seizure did happen on short final and the captain initiated a go-around, so the audio reflects their second attempt to land; I don't know. But they didn't remove the F/O, install the IRO, and make those in-flight transmissions in just the 4-5 miles between the marker and the runway. For the F/O to seize wasn't safe, but they weren't in imminent danger of crashing, either.
The audio I provided was only the Tower and Ramp Control, and shortened. Prior to talking to the tower, they were on the final approach control frequency, on the localizer and cleared for the approach. You are correct that no control inputs were apparent from the pilot having the seizure. You are also correct that flight crews are trained for various pilot incapacitation scenarios. I have trained for it several times in my 33 years of major airline flying experience. You are correct that the rudder controls yaw, but yaw and roll are interconnected. If a yaw input is not counteracted by a roll input in the opposite direction, a roll will occur. My point is that if an unexpected and involuntary full control input is made at a critical time, the outcome could be distastrous.
There is a lllooonnnggg list of air crashes that have occurred as a result of the most mundane, innocuous, small, insignificant events... nevermind something like a sudden full rudder application at very low altitudes (or maybe a full yoke roll if the pilot suddenly collapsed on it?).
@Fager132 is not wrong that any such incidents could be handled by the second pilot, but such incidents in flight should obviously never happen in the first place, and it is the now potential increase in pilot incapacitations wrought about by these toxic injections that make it so that extra safety precautions should be contemplated.
Lastly, such a rudder input as could very easily have happened in the incident described in this article, would have been a much bigger hazard than @Fager132 makes it out to be.

I'd already heard months back about the lowering of the FAA's testing standards, but reading the details of some of this "relaxation" in your article was informative and very interesting. I can't remember the details of what I'd read about back then, but I believe that this acceptance of longer PR intervals is not the only way that the FAA has been lowering the bar.

I'd already heard months back about the lowering of the FAA's testing standards, but reading the details of some of this "relaxation" in your article was informative and very interesting. I can't remember the details of what I'd read about back then, but I believe that this acceptance of longer PR intervals is not the only way that the FAA has been lowering the bar.
I was aware that Dr. Makis had been tallying the doctor deaths, but was unaware of his work following the pilot incapacitations... once again, thank you, going to be looking for that.

It’s just insane. First they mandated poison shots, now they’re putting all flying citizens in danger by allowing heart damaged pilots to fly. Hidden murder. People have no idea unless they read it here. When I tell people they look at me like I’m nuts. They don’t believe me cause they want to travel. So much deception.
Oh honey, they gave the jabs to our Armed Forces, and fired everyone who didn't get it.

It’s poison, now they’re short pilots as so many are not able to pass their EKG tests after getting mandated jab. Now they no longer have to have an EKG. I wonder why not? Well that’s insane. Pilots with heart issues are flying citizens around blindly. That’s not gonna have a good ending.

Dr. Stillwagon, all of the that you give are very concerning. I haven’t felt comfortable in flying ever since covid hit the world and haven’t travelled on an airplane since 2019. I wander how this could also affect other transportation sectors such as train conductors and bus operators, taxi drivers, Uber drivers….the list seems endless. We are stepping out in faith every time that we travel anywhere, not to mention the dangers of when others can have seizures or cardiac arrest situations when they’re in other vehicles and we’re travelling on the road. We definitely have to stay prayed up in these times for sure!
